the Alaska - Siberia Air Bridge
To study the experience of building the route, its historical and cultural heritage, and to honor the pilots who flew the planes in difficult conditions and the local residents who built and maintained the airfields, the Russian Geographical Society and the Russian Ministry of Defense organized a large-scale expedition to survey the facilities of the "ALSIB" air route.
